01. Trek to Island Peak – Imjatse

Within the Himalayan range of Nepal certain peaks are recognized
as the trekking peaks. Among them Island Peak – Imjatse trekking
peak, suituated in Everest region is one of the favourites among
the adventure seekers. Surrounded by high altitude lakes allocated
as high as 5022m the peak befitting its name stands at 6189m.
 From
Lukla till Dingboche the trail to Island Peak follows the same trail
leading to the Everest Base Camp. At Dingboche a path forks East
towards Chukhung. Island peak is positioned Northeast of Chukhung.
Located nearby and West of Dingboche the Nangkartshang
Gomba provides a grand view of Mt.Makalu. Extraordinary views of
the peaks - Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Nuptse - the ice walls of Amphu
Lapcha pass (5780m) and the streams flowing from Lhotse & Nuptse
glaciers, the spectacular Imja Khola valley are the rewards of trekking
to Chukhung and ascending the Island peak.

Solokhumbu region well known as Everest region is the
homeland of the Sherpas, the famous climbers and mountaineers.
The area possesses mountainous landscape of unique beauty,
a wonder of nature. Within its vicinity lie some of
the highest peaks of the world such as Everest (8848m),
Lhotse (8501m), Nuptse (7879m), Makalu (8475m) and the
beautiful Amadablam (6956m) to name a few. It indeed
is a nature lover’s dream to captivate these peaks and

02.Trek to Mera peak
14 nights
/ 15 days

Grade 5
Mera Peak,  6,476m
is an easy Trekking Peak. We fly to Lukla and
trek above the ridge to summer yak herders settlements
along trail to Mera La and establish our base camp.
After allowing time for acclimatization and to sort
our climbing gear, we establish our high camp in snow.
The climbing is gradual, avoiding crevasses and it is
steep ice climbing near the summit. After summiting
the peak, we return to base camp and trek back to Lukla
from where we take a flight back to Kathmandu. Booking
