Ghandrung teahouse trek is a short trek in the foothills of the Annapurna Himalayan range. The trek offers panaromic views of the Annapurna Massif, Machhapuchhare, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and a host of other peaks. It is a moderate grade 2 trek, in other words a reasonably fit person can do it. The highpoint of the trek is the visit to the village of Ghandrung. It is inhabited by the Gurungs, the people who are famous as the Gorkhas in the British army. The village with its orderly rows of slate-roofed houses clustered on a canyon wall looks beautiful.

The route on the trek goes through many settlements of hilly people, thus offering an insight into the culture of the region. The prevalent religion the inhabitants follow is either Hinduism or Budhism. Booking

02. The Royal Trek

The Royal TrekIn 1980 Prince Charles trekked in the foothills of Annapurna range. He visited the villages of the Gurung people, famous as brave Gurkha soldiers. Since then the route following the steps of the prince has been termed as ‘The Royal Trek.’ Although short the trek is profuse with flora & fauna; forests of rhododenron and oak vibrant with various species of birds charm the trail. Enroute local villages and farms represent the local lifestyle.

The highpoint of the trek, Thulokot, is an excellent campsite for the views of Annapurana range, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Manaslu and Begnas Lake.

04 Ghorepani trek

View Of Dhaulagiri From Poonhill - (8167 m)Ghorepani Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. It is a moderate grade 2 trek, in other words a reasonably fit person can do it. The trek starts from Pokhara (203 kms.west of Kathmandu), traverses through the foothills of Annapurna Himalayan range and offers beautiful views of the Annapurna Massif,Ghorepani Trek Machapuchare and Dhaulagiri Himalayan peaks. The Gurung village of Ghandrung with its orderly rows of slate-roofed houses, clustered on a canyon wall, adds a charming view to our trek. The main attraction of this trek is the Poon Hill, the highest point on the trek. In the early morning, the sunrise over the Himalayas is stunning from here. Poonhill offers the best views of the Western Himalayan range. The destinations throughout the trek are local villages where we will be camping for the nights. We return to Pokhara through rhododendron forests and terraced rice fields.

Jomsom TrekJomsom is a classic tea house trek on the busy trade route leading to Mustang. The area boasts some of the best tea houses, owned by the Thakali people of Kaligandaki valley. We begin our trek in Pokhara passing terraced rice fields and rhododendron forest before descending to Tatopani with a hot water spring. We pass the Kaligandakli valley--the deepest gorge on earth, Rupse Chahara " beautiful waterfall' and Thakali villages. Along the trail the views of the Annapurna Massif and Dhaulagiri are excellent. Tradging Along The Trail 08. Mardi Himal Camping Trek

The base of Mardi Himal (5588m) a peak by the side of Machhapuchhare Himal, is one of the ideal wilderness destinations in Nepal - accessible in short duration. Mardi Himal trek provides the experience of the rhodendron and oak forests, uninhabited terrain, beautiful landscape unmarred by permanent settlement and superb mountain views.

In this trek off the beaten poath we enjoy amazing views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna Massif. We also see the Modi Khola valley leading to the Annapurna Sanctuary on the left side of the ridge. Our camps will be set mostly at ridge tops between 10,000 and 12000 feet with the Annapurnas and Machapuchare forming spectacular backdrop. The sunsets turn from pink to red and finally purple before the stars shine over the sky. In favourable condition we take an excursion to16000 ft. for stunning views of Annapurnas.
